19 Black Montreal Youtubers You Should Know Exist!


Aba & Preach  (english)
This is one of my favorite channels. They use their platform to talk about subjects that matter in a fun and light-hearted way. They are both comedians, but make no mistake these two are smart and very articulate. I recommend their channel to everyone. They also have a podcast that you should check out.


Ari & Ela (English)

The Fitz-Patrick sisters are magical wizards when it comes to hair, extensions, crochet... You name it! You will learn plenty about the art of black hair if you follow their channel. Their positive attitude and talent is greatly appreciated by their subscribers. Oh, did I forget to mention they can sing! I mean the Fitzpatrick sisters will blow your mind! Guaranteed! 


Christine is known for her soothing voice and DIY videos. She has been on YouTube for over 5 years. From baking and smoothies to shampoo and make up, With her channel having over 200 000 subscribers, she is an inspiration for all the black vloggers in Montreal.

Curiozite  (French) 
Gayhanna is a certified natural hair consultant turned YouTuber. If you need help managing your curls or coils or if you need to know about the latest hair products she is your girl!

Darcia Dorilas (English)  
Her fashion sense and sense of humor will just reel you. With almost 70k subscribers, she knows how to entertain an audience. Check out her weekly uploads for some of the cutest outfits. Her Kompa playlist is life, and I am definitely tempted to the Sangria recipe she shared on her summer vlog.

DMCMTL (English)
Danielle shares her Lock journey on her channel. Her channel is aesthetically pleasing, very minimalist, the quality is fantastic and the content is rich. She is a graphic designer and her Instagram page is absolutely incredible. You definitely need to check out her work here!

Educated Natural (French)
Jasmine is a gorgeous natural hair vlogger and she also shares her hair journey on her channel, Educated Natural. She wants to make sure she gives the “natural hair” girls around her enough knowledge so they can take care of their hair and love it just like she does hers.


Elrosaddiction (English)
Do you want to be inspired by an incredible makeup artist? This Franco-Nigerian will just wow you with amazing artistry. She creates weekly beauty videos, reviews, hauls, and tutorials. 

Jessica Prudencio  (French) 
She talks about self-love, confidence, her love for food. She is able to vulgarize important subjects without any taboo like fat-phobia, racism and feminism. Plus she is hilarious you won't regret following her.

The queen in terms of natural hair. If you are starting your natural hair journey or if you are just looking for tips for your hair you need to subscribe to this channel! I recently purchased her e-book and that was one of the best investments of my life. Not only does she have beautiful hair but she actually knows what she is talking about. You can tell that she's done the research and knows her stuff.



Kyris Marie (English)

You will die with laughter with her hilarious story times. Her creativity and personality will force you to watch more and more of her.

I know you probably read that name twice. Naila decided to change her name a few years back after receiving a few mean comments about her weight. What an awesome way to bounce back! Just like her channel name, Naila has no filter, she'll say what she thinks and stands by her convictions.

Le Coin de Saiti  (French)

Saika is a young creator with a big heart. She is passionate about natural hair, makeup and lifestyle. She shares different tips on how to save money which is something important especially in this day and age. She is truly an inspiration. 


LVLAVIE (French, English, and Creole)
Laury Verdieu, this Haitian girl who was raised in Montreal will help you discover the wonders of the beautiful city of Montreal through her eyes. I absolutely love the way she expresses herself, combining English, French and Creole. If you were raised in Montreal, you will totally understand that it's pretty much how everyone here talks. You will be charmed by her personality and energy.


Nica (English)
Don't be fooled by the sweet innocent voice in her videos, Nica's talents as a makeup artist will without a doubt impress you. She is gifted and she knows it. She will definitely be serving you looks! She lives in the Montreal area and she also offers makeup and hair services so check out her Instagram and book your next appointment!



Petite & Bold (French)
If you already follow her Instagram or her Blog page, you know she has a certain aesthetic that is to die for. If you are looking for luxury and minimalism she is your girl. She has an online store with amazing items so if you want to buy from a black own business make sure to visit it.



Sophia Tim (English and French)
What? You really thought I was not going to plug my own channel!? Pffff. My channel is mostly about fashion and lifestyle. I also talk a little about travelling. I started YouTube over a year ago. My subscribers see me as the girl next door and I really love that. I absolutely love interacting with my viewers. I literally acknowledge every comment…. Try me ;)


Steve Daniel (English and French)
Steve Daniel is a Montreal Instagramer who just started a YouTube channel where he is making you discover the energy of Montreal through his perspective. This YouTuber is fun and colorful. People love her because of her "girl next door" vibe. She started her channel because she would often get asked a lot of questions on her colored hair and she thought she would share it on the YouTube platform for a larger amount of people instead of answering them one at a time or repeating herself.
